The “Jabal Al Deem Rest House” project was approved by His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Sharjah, in the city of Kalba at an altitude of 850 meters above sea level. the sea level. The Initiatives Implementation Authority in Sharjah (Mubadara) has started construction work on the new cultural project.

This Monday Mohammed Khalaf announced on Sharjah Radio and Television, that the construction is named after Al Deem which means rain, which falls without thunder or lightning, according to the recommendation he received directly from Sheikh Sultan.

Khalaf also played a video showing the architectural design of the Al Mahara Theater in the city of Kalba. This will be the second rest house in Sharjah after the Al Subub in Khor Fakkan, 600 meters above sea level, opened in 2021.

Khalaf added that the new theater will have views of the lake, the clock tower, the university and the city as a whole. “The Al Mahara Theater will be one of the most prominent tourist attractions in the emirate, it will have capacity for a thousand spectators, with a unique view of the landmarks of the area.” Published by the Emirates Herald, a news and information agency.
