Expo 2020 Dubai: Hayyakum, this is the future!
You can feel it in the air, the bustle of the city, as Expo 2020 Dubai begins in earnest. The greatest show in the world began with a spectacular opening ceremony. There were stars on the red carpet, ushering in the World’s Fair that is historic for the region, a first for the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia.
The future has arrived, and it is as fantastic as I imagined it. From hyperloop and AI food to the world’s first aerial train, guide robots, and even technology that pulls water out of the air. It’s really about “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future,” the theme of the 182-day event.
You can jump around the world through more than 190 pavilions and see the best the world has to offer, even get a stamped Expo passport without having to leave the space equivalent to 268 soccer fields.
