As reported by the National Meteorological Center of the United Arab Emirates, a hot day was forecast for this Monday with generally cloudy skies and a probability of rain.
The authority added that rainfall can reach the east and south of the country due to the formation of convective clouds.
Light to moderate winds will blow, cooling at times and kicking up sand and dust.
Temperatures will reach 44ºC in Abu Dhabi and 43ºC in Dubai.
