The upcoming Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open will take place in February 2024

Following the impressive success of its inaugural edition in February 2023, the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open returns for its second edition in 2024, reaffirming its status as a premier tournament in the global tennis calendar. The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and IMG have announced that the event will be held from February 3rd to 11th, 2024, at the Zayed Sports City International Tennis Center in Abu Dhabi. 

As reported by the official Emirates Herald news agency, the significance of the event lies not only in its prize fund of 3.3 million dirhams but also in the coveted ranking points at stake. With 28 players in the singles draw and 16 teams in the doubles draw, this tournament promises a showcase of talent and competition. Organized in partnership with Mubadala and presented by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the WTA 500 represents a convergence of sporting excellence and entertainment. 

The tournament spans nine days, culminating in the final on February 11th, 2024. Located in the heart of Abu Dhabi, the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open 2024 will serve as an unparalleled display of tennis prowess.
