Police in the Ras Al Khaimah emirate detained the suspects involved in a heated argument at a shopping mall in Ras Al Khaimah, after a video of the group fighting in public went viral on social media.
The police also detained the person who filmed the incident and posted it on social media.
Police said they have repeatedly warned residents not to disturb the public peace by starting fights or posting or circulating videos. They are considered a violation of privacy, defamation and a breach of public morals.
To the Ras Al Khaimah Public Prosecutor’s Office, all suspects have been referred for further action. Published by the Emirates Herald, a news and information agency.
